Unlike last year, it feels like player switching can sometimes leave you at a disadvantage because of whom you’re given. The gameplay still has its faults, however, such as how players’ legs clip through each other and how pre-determined animations can take away some control. I liked having to be more aware of how players receive passes, their fatigue level, and even that a through ball may go out of bounds, further separating the good players from the average. Even when he subsequently fires the ball into the side netting because the angle got worse as he quickly approaches the byline, it’s a nice dose of realism.
It’s exhilarating to see your striker try to control the ball with an extra touch on the outside of his boot while he’s on the full gallop. The added variance in passes, even when they go slightly astray, introduces a realistic dynamic to the game. Last year, PES slowed its gameplay speed down, which made it feel better and more exacting, and this year expands the level of detail with the way players react – sometimes unsuccessfully – to the ball. PES 2019 hits more highs than previous iterations, but it’s also bumping up against its own ceiling. PES 2019 continues this glorious tradition in new ways, but it’s juxtaposed by the A.I., which is out of your control, predictable in its attack, and executes questionable transfer business. Just let me know which ones.Control has always been one of the masterstrokes of the PES franchise – particularly the ability to express yourself on the pitch, making even those small touches of the ball important.
Also, I still have all the free agents and whatever other players from PES 2019 I was able to restore, so I can share a. I already have them in my game and I don't want to mess with it myself just in case things go wrong. In any case, I have some files with players from previous PES with their original IDs (thanks to Buckshot ), I can share it if somebody wants to try importing them to see if it works. I figure maybe they did something to fix that master league situation and it required messing up the whole ID system. If I remember correctly, previously, when importing player with the same ID as one that's in the game already, it would just overwrite that player if he is unlicensed and do nothing if he is licensed, right? So that error message is indeed something new. If so, that could be a way to check ID availability before trying to import. maybe the two issues are connected? Like, all these players being marked by as "live update" causes them to have new IDs in the ranges that were previously available? I wonder if IDs on pesmaster reflect the new bug. Then Albiore discovered 5 days after Data Pack 3 in December that the Player IDs in the range of 6559 worked - So possible that Konami removed arrange of Player IDs in order to fix the ML bug. Originally Player IDs in the range of 22944 to 30000 were discovered to work. Since I had to change out Player ID's, I worked league at a time then exported and stated the next league until was done and installed as complete OF. You know Konami, as easily as those ranges became available in December, they could have easily removed some ranges on the ML bug fix. I am going to test today at 67000 to see if it works. Maybe from 66000 to 66999 no longer works. Tried first 23 of 68000 and worked. His issue was the first 23 of 66000 so I don't know how far up to 68000 range it doesn't work. Tried different ranges 70000 and over and worked.
So I tried different Player IDs in that December range of Player IDS and discovered the first 23 players of the 66000 range no longer worked. I installed it and received same message. I opened in TED Editor to look at it and everything looked fine as he had the right Player IDs. I asked him to share the TED so I could look at it. I know last week someone had a TED file giving him a problem with a message of "This data includes players who cannot be imported".
